Mr. Ko has been engaged in the marketing profession for  more than 12 years before founding his own consultancy practices. Throughout his tenure with his previous employers, Ko had held progressively senior marketing position (Brand Mgr/Marketing Mgr/AGM) for the PRC & HK markets. His last position in the task force was being the Asst. General Manager (Sales & Marketing) for PRC/HK in a division of a listed conglomerate in HK. Since 2000, he has been the President at Lloyd& Wilkins Consultants Ltd.

Ko had handled the following brands in his employments: Nestle; Johnnie Walker Whisky; Heineken Beer; Guinness Stout; Remy(Martin) Cointreau; Jim Beam Burbon and Caltex etc.

 

3.    Regional Exposure: ‘Glocal’ Approach – Global Marketing Team

Apart from the Greater China region, Ko was also nominated by the CEO and President of Caltex Greater China Ltd to represent Greater China to take part in their Global marketing team. The team was formed by 13 selected individuals throughout the Caltex worldwide network in 60 countries. Ko took part in 3 strategic initiatives  spearheaded by the team, two of which he took up the responsibility of ‘Team Captain’.

i.     Development of the Retail Image & Identity programme for Caltex Lubes, working with Landor Associates (Team Captain)

ii.     Advertising creative strategy development for brand rejuvenation on a pan-regional basis, working with Bates/TBWA

iii.    Asian Game Promotion: Ko being ‘Team Captain’, (Caltex was the official sponsor of Asian Game in 1998)

 

4.    Founded Brand Consultancy

In 2000, Ko founded Lloyd & Wilkins Consultancy Ltd which is a brand marketing consultancy. Ko have been handling consultancy and executive training workshops for both the private and public sectors ever since. Examples of assignments undertaken within the education sector include:
